Just like your favorite Dr Hops beverage is a careful balance of thoughtfully selected ingredients, the Dr Hops brand was inspired by two astonishing but very real stories: the story of the hare, and the story of the dare.

First: the story of the hare.
When Joshua met his partner Lisa, she had just adopted the cutest rabbit ever! The little bunny had been rescued from a park by a dude named Dennis, who shelled out twenty bucks to a houseless person who was pawning it off. Dennis named the bunny "Dr. Hops" and took care of it until he had to give it up due to his newborn’s allergy. That's when Lisa swooped in, convinced that she could give Dr. Hops the best life ever. And boy, did she deliver! With Dr. Hops by their side, Lisa and Joshua found a whole new level of love and happiness they never saw coming.

Now: the story of the dare.
Not long after, Tommy and Joshua were introduced by a friend who was basically a modern-day Nostradamus. They hit it off instantly, bonding over their shared passions for creativity, craft beer, and enterprise. They spent hours drinking and dreaming up ideas for a better boozy beverage. One day, Joshua busted out a bottle of funky hard kombucha from the midwest and Tommy was shook. It was sweet and sour, and it didn't taste like it was good for you (even though it wanted to be). "Can hard kombucha really be as good as a great craft beer?" they thought. Inspired by the possibility of what hard kombucha could be, and motivated by the live-and-be-glorious-against-all-odds spirit of a little rabbit: these two men set off to make the best hard beverages the world has ever tasted.
